How bad is Mercury in it's detriment and peregrine?

I've been looking into classical Astrology and Essential Dignities. I have discovered that my Mercury is both Peregrine (has no dignity) and is in Sagittarius, a sign of it's detriment. How bad is this in a natal chart?
