If a planet is in fall in a sign does that indicate a place a person may struggle?

And if that be the case since the sun represents a persons individuality and vitality would that mean a Libra, who's sun is in fall, would struggle to be an individual and lack the courage to live outside the approval of others? It seems to me that would mean that everyone born in late September through mid October is inheritantly flawed as an individual. Same goes for Aries which is in detriment in the Sun. They seem to have the opposite problem that Librians have and have a real inability to relate to others well. I am struggling with this over here because I can't wrap my brain around the idea that there is a entire sect of people who are just doomed to have this internal struggle with self.
