Scottish independence - pro's and cons?

My own view is that as the son of a Scot and an obsessive lover of all things scottish it would break my heart to be apart from the people and land that means so much to me. I do believe it would not be in Scotland's interest to lose the support of the English parliament. You have such a better standard of welfare than we do here in England and i wouldn't like to see you lose that.
