The best advice I can give that you have to do basic preparation for any interview meaning you have to define which theme you can touch and which one you do not while answering questions. For example, if you do not like questions about personal life or how many employees you're going to hire just smile and go politely to another question. This is not easy but it comes with experience.

Ok, so I am NOT like your stereotypical male who has just turned 30. You see, due to my decision to join the Marines, I am just now getting my undergraduate degree. Can my landlord still charge me for "damages" if he already returned my security deposit?

My landlord returned the security deposit within 30 days of the end of the lease (like he was supposed to according to law), but on top of having deducted money for normal wear and tear (e.g. touch up paint, bathroom cleaning fees, etc), he's now asking for more money for damage that we supposedly did to the house even after he'd already returned our deposits. Long story short... I don't know what it feels like to be in love or to feel happiness in any form. Criticisms of Objectivism?

Truly objectivism isn't much of a philosophy but rather a sort of a cultish doctrine. Bingeing, on healthy food, but still bingeing?

I have lost 21 pounds in 7 weeks through good old fashioned diet and exercise, and cutting booze out of my diet.Every once in a while, like today, I have a day where all of a sudden I'm just excessively hungry, and I binge on stuff like Yoplait yogurt, or cereal. This is good, healthy stuff, don't get me wrong. It's 100 calories, 0 from fat for each yogurt, and the cereal is Kashi. I get cravings for things like chocolate, cheesecake, pies, anything sweet and creamy and this is when I turn to yogurts. They have flavors like raspberry cheesecake and strawberry chocolate and french vanilla coconut. I quite literally had 7 yogurts today, 1 when I woke up, 3 in one sitting earlier, and 3 in another just now at 10 at night. I've never even seen somebody sit and enjoy a yogurt as much as I do. I literally savor each bite and scrape it out with my finger, my cravings for something sweet are that strong and I love it that much. Does anybody else have this problem, bingeing on sweet, but healthy foods, and how do you control it? Also, does anyone know if this could have something to do with lack of alcohol? I used to be a moderate to heavy drinker..and I used to be neutral to any and all sweet things..cakes and candies and ice cream were never part of my diet. I never went out of my way to eat them. Now I crave them on an almost daily basis, and I wanted to know if maybe it's because I used to drink so much wine and there is sugar in that and now my body is lacking it? I binge on yogurts and cereals because I don't buy cake and ice cream or any junk food for that matter. I bet I would eat 3 pieces of cake instead if I had that. i'm 18 and i just recently picked up working out again (i have in the past, but for some reason never truly dedicated myself to it, but now i am). i've been working out for maybe 3-4 weeks now, strictly push-ups because i'm conditioning myself for serious. at first i did roughly 5 or 6 sets of 20 a day; then 25, and now i'm at around 7 sets of 30 a day (with a rest day once a week). keep in mind i'm a beginner for the most part, although i have potential and some knowledge. however, due to certain circumstances, my work out begins at night and i spread the push-ups over a few hours, while doing other things (ending in the early morning - i've had sleep problems recently). my question is this...is working out during the night and then going to sleep detrimental to my progress? i see some progress but it doesn't seem enough for 3-4 weeks. i don't know, maybe 3-4 weeks won't yeild as much progress as i'm expecting, and i should just stick with it. also on a side note, i don't eat totally unhealthy, but i'm prone to junk foods (not an unhealthy amount). i also eat healthy though. but will these fatty foods also be a detriment? and also, i have a big bottle of creatine i haven't used yet because i'm waiting til i become dedicated. it says 5 g in a 8-10 oz drink...is that before, during, or after. answer all the questions as best you can and i'll give you the 10 pts

Some time ago my grade school son was accused of striking a teacher , meeting with the school staff to avoid suspension my son had a psychologist recommended by the school to find out what's wrong (he did not display this behavior at home) long story short the teacher reporting this bad behavior was physically abusing my son by kicking him in the back , on one occasion he fought back in the same manner which prompted the teacher to use the system to punish him. At the school meeting prior to the school recommended psychologist sessions, the teacher who did this revealed herself and her level of rage by acting very defensive to the embarrassment of the school board members. After this incident I lost all faith and trust in school staff , I felt they knowingly lied about the situation. The details not mentioned by this teacher with other children as victims and witnesses came out in a full report to the school. My son is almost thirty now , but I'll never forget that lying teacher . From what I've seen and heard across the country and the corruption going on with school officials and the wasting of funds they deserve to lose their collective bargaining rights. Please post your experiences with out of control school staff , and always question school authorities for the facts. If your kid's school calls you and says your kid hit a teacher and the police were not called something is already wrong.

How to get away from my dad!?

I am 14. I was living with my dad all the way until i was 13. It went down hill between us when i was 11. He constantly yelled at me for things i had no control over. He would threaten and even hit me once or twice. "I tore the family apart" i was "a little ***** like your mom" Those were only some of the things that would be shouted at me as i was pushed and yelled at. He drinks and when i asked him to stop he accused me of calling him a drunk. He takes what i say out of context and threatens me with it. At the begining of 7th grade i had had enough and i ran away after school. I was only pushed to that after months and months of fighting with him and getting blamed for everything that goes wrong. He would come home frustrated and no one knew when he was going to blow. But i was always the subject. I thought running away would bring the cops attention to my father but they laughed in my face. Along with my dad. They had no idea what kind of hell they were dropping me back into. For that whole year i was in and out of deppression, cutting myself, and had post dramatic stress symptoms such as numbness to the world and that thing where your body wont move when you are awake. Where you open your eyes but your body still is in a sleeping state. It was the scariest thing that would ever happen to me. I would get it a couple times a aweek. My mom finally threatened him with a lawsuit if he hadnt handed me over. Which he did. I am getting better but the transition from the big city to small town life was hard too. But i finally have some friends and am going to my highschool three times a week to workout with them. But this whole last year has been constant fighting. Back and fourth. Now he says he is taking me back. He wants to drag me back to the city for offering him money in an email so i can go visit my ailing grandmother. He got mad and said he was taking me away from my mom. But i wont go back to the depression and the numb feeling. I just got over it. I stopped cutting months ago. Im finally fitting in and doing things i love. Its like he doesnt want me to be happy. What can i do to get away from there. He has friends at the police station in chicago and has placed himself in good tidings with powerful people. I feel trapped. I just cant go back there. I was even considering suicide when i was there. Please someone tell me what to do?

That actually sounds like a really fun party! If it is going to go long into the night, you could probably show a movie using a projector on the garage door for fun! Have lawn chairs because people like to sit. Your food options are very good and well varied for everyone. If you wanted anymore food ideas you should have a BUNCH of fruit...definitely watermelon because it is such a summer food. I would also add something as simple as cookies to the dessert because not everyone likes cheesecake or pie. It would be cool to set out picnic blankets or something for everyone to eat on.

What exactly is "bettering the breed"?

When I think of bettering the breed, I think of breeding the dog that is excellent at doing the thing it was originally bred to do. I think a border collie should be a champion in herding or obedience and confirmation if it is to be bred. I personally think it is more important for a dog to be a champion at what it was bred to do then just be a companion. Well, Bulldogs, Pekignese, and Basset Hounds were bred to look that way originally anyway, and I think they should only be bred if they haven't experienced genetic health problems. There are some breeds that were even originally bred to look that way, so I don't think of confirmation as making the breed worse, because they have always been that way. When it comes to a breed like the German Shepherd, THAT is when I get upset with confirmation, because of how messed up their spines and hips are. So many champion German Shepherds in confirmation have had OFA testings that show up as deformed because of how confirmation says they should look. Working German Shepherds can't compete in confirmation because they don't conform to breed standards, and gets me quite annoyed. I think that MOST breeds should always be entered in conformation to breed, but there are some exceptions that just make the breed worse, like the German Shepherd.

I know without a doubt that Amanda Knox is innocent. There is little to no actual evidence to convict her, and the judge who convicted her is mentally unstable, with his insane claims. He's also done this before, to a two guys, Mario Spezi and Douglas Preston, back in the 1980's. Douglas Preston wrote a book about it and about the killings (also the killer) that that same judge accused Mario Spezi in particular of committing, using the same BS claims of satanic cults and sh*t like that. I think that her concept is silly, sorry. But you can be happy or unhappy in whatever position of life youre in. Some of the richest most beautiful people are so unhappy to the point of suicide. He seems obsessed with you. You have the right to have a life beyond him. If you aren't talking I would suggest taking that opportunity to get away from him. It may be hard to leave a friend behind, especially when you really think of them as a good friend. But It's also hard to have a friendship with someone who likes you more than you like them. Unless he finds someone (A girlfriend) I would suggest leaving him alone. You don't necessarily have to forget about him though.

That's messed up. Sugar, you can't handle this all without the help of a mental health professional. Self harming is a mental illness. Right now it might look trivial to you but in future it can turn into a big problem for you. I have went through all that there was a point in my life when i had no friends because people thought i was insane. All this has a lot to do with how you feel your parents treat you. The good news is, you can stop feeling so miserable with the help of some therapy or even medicines. You can live a happy normal life. 16 is a very young age, you have a long way to go. What does it mean to be "integrated enough"?

I keep hearing this from several people telling those of us, who are first-generation Americans and the offspring of immigrants, that we are not "integrated enough". As long we speak English, become educated, and contribute to American society, why should it matter what we do on our personal time? You can't be rude. You got that right. Public image can make or break a person. I have been in advertising and PR for over 40 years and have had to be nice. That seems hard for you. You can write down FAQ and have pat answers. You can say, give me a call at the office and I'll find some time to answer some of those questions. Don't give them a business card and make it easy for them to reach you. Let them do the research. Most people actually never follow up. If someone does call you can say it's not a good time and at least delay the process. Personally I disagree and feel that Luongo didn't play very well but where were the Sedins when it mattered? No where to be found. Where was the vaunted defense? I mean, of course to be accepting is a good thing in general. But I've been watching two BBC shows, one called "Tribal Wives" - about white British women who travel the world and live with tribes, some of them in Africa, and another show from the BBC called "One of the Tribe" where a guy named Bruce Parry lives with tribes as well. In all of these shows where they go live with African people (black people), they are always greeted with open arms, they even go as far as to say the newcomers are one of them, even saying things like, While your here, we consider you like our son or daughter, and these are white people we are talking about. I think that is the one of the main reasons why the Egyptian empire fell, is because we as darker hue people are very open and honest, and accepting of all people. I mean I know its hard to go against our nature, but do you think being this way comes as great detriment to our people? I mean I don't want to be anything like white people and their way of thinking, but I do think there should be a gray area, and middle ground as to not ever be taken advantage of by people who don't have this peaceful nature.
